Build Loft Bed Into Wall

Step 1 measure for the desired height.
Build loft bed into wall. Create a butt joint by placing the 54 inch board to the inside of the 79 inch board. Cut or construct a box using four of the 2 x 6 inch boards. Using a drill create pilot holes in the boards in which the nuts and screws will go. Drill pilot holes slightly smaller than the diameter of the lag bolts you are using into the wall studs and headboard.
