Camry Trunk Lock Stuck

I stopped at a toyota dealership today.

Camry trunk lock stuck. Can not get my trunk open by lever inside or key lock on trunk lid and i am using the right key. I sprayed the wd 40 at the hardware store and drove home. I could remove and reinsert the key just fine but it wouldn t turn at all. Sometimes the camry can get stuck in valet mode and they key wont work.

Trunk lock seems to be in open position. Use wd 40 or any silicone grease spray a bit on your key and on the lock. The lock itself should it become stuck and refuse to unlatch when you pull the handle or turn the key is not accessible from the outside but must be reached through the interior of the car for safety purposes.
